TekCom Resources, Inc. is seeking a Traveling OSP Construction Manager to oversee FTTH and long-haul fiber projects across the United States.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of OSP construction management experience.
• Experience managing FTTH, middle-mile, backbone, or long-haul fiber projects.
• Strong knowledge of underground fiber construction methods and aerial construction oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, permits and engineering packages.
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of FTTH and long-haul fiber construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, subcontractors, and field activities.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing representative for construction activities.
• Monitor milestones, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to meet client expectations.
• Maintain project documentation and status updates.
• Lead field visits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews.
• Provide field direction to contractors performing underground and aerial work.
• Identify challenges and develop solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Ensure work complies with customer standards, designs, permits, and safety regulations.
• Review and approve contractor production and material usage.
• Assist with customer billing and project financial tracking.
• Lead weekly project meetings with customers and teams.
• Monitor quality control and construction standards.
