Job summary

NAC International is seeking a Transportation Operations Project Engineer to support planning and execution of transportation projects from preparation through field operations. You will coordinate activities with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure safe and successful project outcomes.

You will prepare design and procurement specifications, manuals, and fabrication/test procedures, interface with various groups to support cask and site operations equipment design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support transportation projects from planning through execution and coordinate activities.
• Prepare design and procurement specifications, purchase orders, operating and maintenance manuals, and fabrication and test procedures.
• Interface with internal groups to support cask and site operations equipment design and engineering analyses.
• Maintain NAC/Transportation shipping casks and support equipment.
• Coordinate packaging and shipment of project-specific equipment.
• Assist in developing project management documentation and briefing materials, including progress and status reports.
