Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Travel Flight Nurse to join our CBS Medical Directorate team in Show Low, AZ. Work 14 days on, 14 days off with 24-hour shifts, delivering critical care during transport by helicopter.

The role requires a minimum 36 months in ICU/ER/Flight/critical care transport within the last 5 years and offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus, travel pay, per diem, and off-duty housing. Responsibilities include assessment, triage, and treatment for safe patient transport to the appropriate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last 5 years or as required by state/local EMS regulations.
• Pre-hospital experience a plus.
• Flight experience a plus for full-time travel nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care, including assessment, triage, and treatment, for safe transport of the patient.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation from initial contact to facility hand-off.
• Ensure safety and compliance per Medical Director standards.
