REMEDI8 is seeking a Field Service Technician – Fire Damper Inspector to inspect commercial fire-rated dampers nationwide, ensuring NFPA 80 compliance. Based in Pensacola, FL, this field-based role requires travel up to 100% and independent work habits.

You will perform inspections, document findings, and support customer life-safety and compliance efforts while using tablet-based reports and maintaining professional communication with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspections and field service roles.
• Ability to read and follow Life Safety Plans (LSPs).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial fire-rated dampers per NFPA 80.
• Complete REMEDI8 Fire Damper Inspection training per TMP-001 and ISO 17020.
• Document and report damper deficiencies.
• Read and label Life Safety Plans (LSPs).
• Complete tablet-based inspection reports.
• Ensure inspection records support client compliance and reporting.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and teams.
• Use and calibrate inspection tools.
• Travel to sites as required.
