REMEDI8 is seeking Field Service Technicians to serve as Fire Damper Inspectors, traveling nationwide to inspect commercial fire-rated dampers for NFPA 80 compliance. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy travel, independence, and supporting life-safety compliance in healthcare and commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspections, field service, facilities, construction, HVAC, or technical roles.
• Ability to read and follow Life Safety Plans.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfort working above ceilings, on ladders, and in mechanical or occupied spaces.
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, computers, and Microsoft Office.
• Professional, customer-focused demeanor.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently while traveling extensively.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Ability to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends, or modified schedules.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings (motor vehicle record, drug testing, background checks, etc.)

What Will Make You Stand Out
