ProAutomated Inc. seeks adventurous professionals for field automation roles that travel across North America. You’ll install, test, and validate automation systems on-site, partner with engineers, and interact directly with customers.

A four-week paid training builds essential electrical, programming, and networking skills. There is no fixed office, and compensation reflects travel demands. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 with per diem, mileage reimbursement, bonuses, and raises.

Qualifications

• Technical foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communications networking.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; valid driver’s license and own vehicle within 45 days of employment.
• Live within 50 miles of a major airport; relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on–2 off, 10 on–4 off, or 14 on–7 off; each project brings new challenges and locations.
