Job summary

The role requires independent product expertise, travel up to 75% (domestic and international), and mentoring of junior engineers. You will perform preventive maintenance, start-up, and complex retrofits, document activities, and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with 4–10 years of related experience.
• Advanced electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement processes and terminology.
• Ability to solve advanced process-related system problems.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Advanced PC skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Kepner-Tregoe problem solving and decision making training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional on-site service to install, service and repair complex equipment.
• Lead customer meetings and communicate effectively in person, email, and phone.
• Perform preventative maintenance and start-up activities within time frames.
• Document activities, logs and reports for management.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 75% with valid passport.
• Mentor other field service engineers and train on equipment and software.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and close acceptance of installations.
