Pfeiffer Vacuum is hiring a Field Service Engineer based in Chandler, Arizona. You will act as the on-site technical authority, resolving high-complexity issues, supporting new tool installs, and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, including vacuum and pump systems, pneumatics, controls, and 400 V-class power. Domestic and international travel are involved.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical field or AS degree with relevant field service experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience supporting semiconductor fabs and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Serve as on-site technical authority for semiconductor tools at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and controls subsystems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve uptime and reliability.
