Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. You will deliver rapid-response, high-quality emergency care, triage, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ED.

Requirements include 1 year ER RN experience, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS or ENPC. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience
• Current RN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival in the ED
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per ED protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency procedures
• Monitor patient comfort, safety and document changes in EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory standards
