Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Olney, Maryland. This role offers night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and a focus on rapid-response emergency care. Start ASAP with ongoing support from Fusion’s clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The travel position includes competitive pay, benefits, and licensure reimbursement. The ER RN will triage, treat, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced ED environment, delivering expert care

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care by severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout stay in the ED; document changes.
