Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN) for Rapid City, SD. This travel role covers ED duties, 12-hour night shifts, and a 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026, with 48 hours per week.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will triage, assess and implement care in a fast-paced emergency setting, following physician instructions and established protocols. ACLS/BLS/NIH/PALS/TNCC, plus 1–2 years of acute care experience, are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ER travel nurse in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and vitals monitoring.
• Triage, assess, and implement care per physician orders.
• Maintain supplies and document patient progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and safety.
