Job summary

TotalMed RN in Rapid City, SD is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse to join a fast-paced ER team. This 20-week assignment features 12-hour night shifts, a 48-hour work week, and a travel-friendly compensation package.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care ER experience with current ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications. As an ER Travel Nurse you will triage, treat, document medical histories, monitor vital signs and assist with IV therapy and wound care while maintaining patient

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care ER experience.
• ER travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong triage and rapid assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and IV therapy.
• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; document medical history.
• Assist with wound care and patient education.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
