HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a 13-week assignment in Henderson, North Carolina. The role features a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour night shifts at travel pay rates.

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of 1 year in the ED specialty.
• Allied 6 months of experience is not required for RN role.
• Current state nursing license and required certifications for the position.
• Degree from an accredited school and compliance with licensure rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including meds, specimens, treatments, and documentation.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Coordinate care across disciplines including transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial needs.
• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
