Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions has a travel nursing opportunity for an RN in the ED in Henderson, North Carolina. The role is 13 weeks long, requires 36 hours per week with night shifts, and is a travel employment type.

You will perform plan of care interventions, administer medications, monitor patients, and coordinate with the care team for transfers, discharges, and referrals. Strong focus on patient education and safety throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Monitor and document patient condition; communicate with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines for transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Provide patient/family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
