Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Henderson, North Carolina is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in ED to join a top healthcare client for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts in the Emergency Department.

This travel role requires an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and 18 months of recent acute care ER experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required, with additional facility-specific requirements to be determined.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Able to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
