TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse for a Madison, Wisconsin assignment. The ER RN will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with a travel assignment and immediate start; 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Required certifications include TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS; additional certifications may be needed before starting. The role involves fast-paced triage, care, documentation and patient education in a diverse ED team.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Wisconsin or eligible to practice
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience
• Cancer/trauma/ER certifications may be required

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician orders.
• Document patient history and allergies; monitor vitals.
• Provide bedside care, wound care and IV therapy.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; report abuse as needed.
• Assist with rapid assessment and patient flow in a fast-paced ER environment
