Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for the Emergency Department in Madison, WI. This ER travel assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week in 12-hour rotating shifts. Immediate opening requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will assess and triage patients, follow physician instructions, document histories, monitor vitals and provide bedside care in a fast-paced environment. Benefits and weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure patient safety.
