Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment starting 10/26/2026. You’ll work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift in the Emergency Department.

Requires an active RN license and degree from an accredited program. 18 months of recent Acute Care ER experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required by some clients. MedPro provides housing options, credentialing fee coverage, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room RN provides care for patients from various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and must recognize and treat life-threatening conditions
• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients including physical and mental health conditions
