Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse in Richmond, Virginia for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Immediate opening requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant ER certifications.

The ER RN will evaluate, triage, and implement care in a fast-paced setting, handling IV therapy, wound care, and patient education while documenting medical history and vital signs. Travel benefits and tax-free stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Active RN license in the United States.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, CPI certifications required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
