TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions in a fast-paced environment. ACLS, BLS, CPI are required; 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift is expected.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, CPI certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Emergency department experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• As an ER Travel Nurse, evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Document medical history, vital signs and patient status; monitor patients closely.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and report concerns promptly.
