Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN-ED) in Aiken, SC for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts. The role requires ER experience and certifications (BLS/ACLS and others) and emphasizes fast-paced triage and patient care.

The ER RN will document patient histories, monitor vitals, perform basic bedside care, IV therapy, wound care and patient education under physician instructions.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, CPI certifications are required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred for ER travel nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Document medical history and vitals.
• administer IV therapy and wound care as needed.
• Ensure patient and family education under physician instructions.
