Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour evenings shifts in a fast-paced ED.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care ER experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC and TNCC. RNs will triage, treat and document care while maintaining bedside duties and patient safety in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent acute care ER experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC and CPI certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Document medical history, vital signs and care plans.
• Caring for patients and families, while following physician instructions.
• Maintain supplies and assist with procedures as needed.
