Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts. The position is 26 weeks in duration, with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour evening shifts.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and be prepared to work in a fast-paced ER environment requiring triage, assessment, IV therapy, wound care, and patient education.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• 1.5 years of acute care experience required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Document medical history and vitals.
