Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a travel assignment in Needham, Massachusetts. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, and the ability to work 12‑hour nights on a 36‑hour per week schedule.

The ER travel nurse will evaluate and triage patients, document histories, monitor vital signs, and assist with procedures, ensuring rapid, expert care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• Travel nurse with ER experience and ability to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history, monitor vital signs and patient condition.
• Provide basic ER procedures, wound care, IV therapy and patient education.
