Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. The position involves providing advanced emergency care in a Level I Trauma Center with night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Qualified candidates hold BLS/ACLS/PALS and NIHSS, with TNCC and NRP preferred; RN license and 2+ ER years required. A valid driver's license is also needed, and the role may include float rotation and a challenging orientation.

Qualifications

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC; NRP preferred.
• Education and Experience: Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience required.
• Location Requirements: Must have a valid drivers license.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Provide care for trauma, sepsis, chest pain, strokes, and other emergency conditions; interpret cardiac strips; manage high patient acuity with a ratio of 1:4 in zones, 1:6 in Fast Track, 1:5 in OBS, and 1:1 in ICU/Trauma.
• Additional Notes: Requires passing a pass/fail exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%. Prohibits artificial nails in patient care areas; candidates cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any organization associated with the organization.

Responsibilities
