MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. The assignment is with one of our top healthcare clients. Duties include emergency room care for patients with illnesses or trauma, with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration starting 10/12/2026. Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program are required, along with BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room care for patients with illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and treatment
• Assess, intervene and stabilize patients with decisive action
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients' physical and mental health conditions
