Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift position at a Level I Trauma Center requiring TNCC, ACLS, BLS certifications and Level I trauma experience. The travel assignment covers 4x12h night shifts with 48 hours per week and potential cross-campus rotation.

Requirements include CT RN license (or compact), 2 years ER experience (Level I trauma preferred), and certifications TNCC/ACLS/BLS; CPI/ENPC/NIHSS/PALS are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license or compact license required.
• Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS.
• Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC, NIHSS, PALS.
• 2 years of ER experience required; 1.5 years acceptable at Level I trauma or similar facility.
• Level I Trauma Center experience required; Level II trauma experience preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center.
• Cross-train and float to other campuses and ED observation within scope.
• Open to block scheduling and rotating to other campuses as needed.
• Manage trauma and neuro cases and coordinate patient care.
