Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a Level II Trauma Center night shift. The position requires recent Emergency Department experience and a current Oregon RN license. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are required; CPI is preferred.

Responsibilities include providing direct ED care, patient assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The role uses Epic for charting, with a 1:4 patient ratio and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license required.
• Recent ED experience within the past 5 years.
• Two professional references from past 2 years (supervisor/charge nurse).
• Trauma center experience within last 3–5 years.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat Level II Trauma Center ED patients (adult/pediatric).
• Provide direct patient care: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Night shifts: 19:00–07:30 with 36 hours weekly.
• Document care in Epic; follow established standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; delegate care by competence.
