Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Milton, MA. You will care for acutely ill patients, perform triage, monitor telemetry, and coordinate care with the team during 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements include 2+ years ER nursing, BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS certifications, ENPC preferred, and COVID/flu vaccines. Orientation and compliance testing occur on day one; travelers must reside >50 miles from assignment.

Qualifications

• ER nursing experience required (2+ years)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
• ENPC preferred; must pass telemetry/ECG test and medications test on day one at orientation
• COVID vaccine + booster required; Flu vaccine required
• No local travelers: reside more than 50 miles from assignment location
• Orientation and compliance screenings/tests on first day

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care in the ER for acutely ill or injured patients per physician orders
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and telemetry/ECG interpretation to guide treatment
• Administer meds, establish IVs, manage venous access, wound care, pain control, and EMR documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; communicate status changes and handoffs
• Maintain patient safety and infection control; respond to emergent events; support orientation requirements
