Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ER travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Susanville, CA. You’ll work 12-hour nights in the ED, handling triage, assessment and urgent care under physician direction.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, current BLS, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Travel stipends and scheduled shifts are based on 12-hour rotations with weekly pay when deployed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• RN with active license preferred.
• Experience in ED or acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and monitor patient condition in a fast-paced ED.
• Triage, evaluate and initiate care following physician orders.
• Document patient history, vital signs and treatments.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and ensure patient safety.
