Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a travel assignment in Hagerstown, Maryland. The position runs for 13 weeks, with 48 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift in the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required for eligibility.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent ER acute care experience.
• Client facility may add other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illness in ED.
• Provide emergency care and recognize life-threatening conditions.
• Perform triage to prioritize injuries by medical need.
• Make quick, accurate assessments of incoming patients.
