Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Carthage, IL. The ER RN delivers rapid-response care in a busy emergency department, assesses patients, administers treatments, and collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient care.

The position requires one year of ER experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, PTO, retirement options, licensure

Qualifications

One year of ER RN experience required.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to emergency nursing protocols.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED and document assessments and outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
