Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sterling, IL. You will provide rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department, including triage, treatments, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Required qualifications include 1 year ER RN experience, active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC. Preferred certifications such as TNCC or NIHSS may apply. Travel benefits and day-one coverage are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
