Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Carthage, IL. As a member of our team, you'll deliver rapid-response emergency care, triaging, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians and support staff in a fast-paced ED.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival, prioritizing based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per ED protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document patient conditions and nursing interventions in EMR.
• Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
