Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ER travel nurse for the Georgetown, TX area. This 13-week contract involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, applicable ACLS/BLS/ENPC/TNCC/CPI certifications, and the ability to work with a diverse patient population. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will triage, assess and implement physician-directed care, document histories, monitor vitals and support patients and families

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• EMR and ED documentation exposure preferred.
• Current, active RN license and applicable state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ED.
• Administer treatments, medications and IV therapy as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient status accurately.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
