Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Irving, Texas. This ER travel assignment requires ASAP start with a 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts.

The RN will evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced ER, documenting vitals and clinical observations while coordinating with the care team and physicians. 1 year of acute care ER experience preferred and mandatory certifications provide ready eligibility for

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care ER experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Must be able to work nights and 12-hour shifts.
• Travel assignment ASAP start with 13-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage ER patients following physician orders.
• Administer care, monitor vital signs, and document in charting.
• Provide IV therapy and wound care as needed.
• Maintain supplies and assist with patient and family education.
