Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ER travel nurse in Tyler, Texas for a 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department. This travel role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and a competitive, tax-free stipend.

Ideal candidates hold ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC with 1–2 years of acute care experience. The ER RN will evaluate, triage and implement care, document medical history and monitor patients while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required.
• 13-week travel assignment in Tyler, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care in a fast-paced ED.
• Administer IV therapy and manage wounds.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes.
• Document care and coordinate with the team.
• Report abuse to appropriate agencies.
