Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse in Rapid City, SD. The RN will evaluate and triage patients in a fast-paced ED, provide bedside care, and collaborate with physicians to implement treatment plans.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC. Rotation shifts, 12-hour, and a 36-hour week are typical for this travel position.

Qualifications

• ER Travel Nurse with 1–2 years acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Provide bedside care and wound care.
• Administer IV therapy and manage supplies and equipment.
• Document medical history, vitals, and patient well-being.
