Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a qualified ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Martinsville, VA. The nurse will deliver rapid emergency care, triage patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Travel qualifying benefits and support are provided.

Requirements include 1 year ER experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC. Night shifts are 12 hours, with 36 hours per week and a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

One year of ER RN experience required.
Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications current.
Preferred TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications.

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival in the ER.
Explain procedures to patients and families clearly.
Administer prescribed emergency medications and treatments.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
Document nursing assessments and outcomes in the EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, social workers, and staff.
