Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for Martinsville, Virginia, to join our emergency department team on a 13-week assignment. The RN will perform assessments, triage, administer medications, coordinate with clinicians, and document care in the EHR, while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, required ACLS/BLS and other certifications, with 1–2 years ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC certifications.
• 1–2 years of experience in an emergency department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, including assessment and triage.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
