Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fishersville, VA. You will work 36 hours per week on day shifts, delivering rapid, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate has ER RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications, with eligibility to work in Virginia.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians in procedures.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document assessments and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
