Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel ER RN for an assignment in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. You will join a fast-paced ED team, performing triage, assessments, and skilled nursing care to diverse patients in a travel role.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care ER experience and current certifications (ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH, PALS, TNCC). The role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts for 13 weeks with tax-free stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience in ER settings.
• Emergency Room RN high-stress environment experience preferred.
• Travel nurse credentials and certifications expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic ER care and bedside assistance.
• Assess and triage patients; document medical history and vital signs.
• Administer IV therapies, wound care, and routine procedures.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies; uphold infection control practices.
• Report safety concerns and emergencies promptly.
