Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The assignment spans 13 weeks with 36 hours weekly and 12-hour shifts, designed for travel configuration.

Required are an active RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited program, with 18 months ER acute care experience. Start date is 11/09/2026, and certain positions may require BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
