Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts. This ER travel role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour rotating shifts.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions, document patient history, monitor vital signs and support patients and families in a fast-paced environment. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• ER travel assignment in Boston, MA
• 12-hour rotating shifts
• 36 hours per week, 13 weeks duration

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Assess, triage and monitor patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Document medical history, vital signs and care plans.
• Administer treatments, IV therapy and basic procedures as directed.
• Support patients and families with information and emotional needs.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and report safety concerns.
