Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED – Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Montgomery, Alabama. The ER travel nurse will join a fast-paced team to evaluate and care for patients under physician orders in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, holds ACLS/BLS/PALS and TNCC certifications, and can handle long shifts and heavy patient loads. This travel role includes a tax-free stipend and a 13-week assignment in Montgomery.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years acute care experience for ER travel nurse.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, CPI, TNCC certifications required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician orders in a fast-paced ER.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patient well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care and IV therapy; manage supplies.
