Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Tuscaloosa, AL. This ED RN role requires rapid assessment, triage, and direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will work 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration, with travel payer details and stipends determined per assignment. Relevant certifications (ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC) are required.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required; NIH may be preferred.
• Travel nurse assignment in ED (Emergency Department) in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patient status.
• Triage and implement care per physician orders.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, vital signs, and documentation.
• Assist with patient and family education.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; report any abuse to authorities.
