Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Belleville, IL. The selected candidate will work 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week) in a fast-paced ED, delivering urgent care, triage, and high-quality patient care.

This role requires a valid IL RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications, with preferred additional credentials. You’ll join a nationwide traveler-focused team offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and robust support

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival, prioritizing based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED visit.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Educate patients and families according to immediate needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff for comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
