Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and robust support from a dedicated clinical team.

The ER RN will assess patients, administer life-saving treatments, and coordinate care in a fast-paced emergency department, utilizing strong clinical skills and clear communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Active RN license in Alabama or eligible to practice.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications per ER protocols.
• Assist physicians during treatments and exams.
• Monitor comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control.
