Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a 13-week assignment in Austin, Texas. The nurse will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours weekly, with rotating weekends. Ideal candidate holds an RN license and mandatory ACLS/BLS/ENPC/TNCC/NIHSS certifications, plus trauma and behavioral health experience. Meditech is a plus, and teamwork is essential. Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications mandatory.
• Trauma and behavioral health experience preferred.
• Meditech experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition in the Emergency Department.
• Perform EKGs, splinting, and trauma assists.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in airway management and behavioral health de-escalation techniques.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
