Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in ED for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. This role is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts and a travel employment type.

You will need an active RN license, a nursing degree, and acute care ED experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required. Benefits include weekly pay, housing allowance or private housing, health and life insurance, travel reimbursements, 401(k) matching, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues for urgent care.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients (physical and mental health).
